Customer Review: How Do You Wash These Things?

I highly recommend the use of cloth wax strips over the plastic-y or felt-like ones provided in most waxing kits. They grab onto the wax better, and since they're soft they don't have as much tension when they pull and therefore don't add extra pain when ripping one off. Plus, they're washable (I know the strips that come in the Nad's kit are sort of cloth like and washable, but I feel like those wear out faster anyways). The only problem with these strips is that after you wash them, since they are made of muslin, they wrinkle and stiffen incredibly easy (and since they're small, this even happens in the dryer because they just implode or something). This may have something to do with me washing them by hand, but 1) I even try to lay them straight to dry and they still wrinkle and stiffen, and 2) I wouldn't trust putting something sticky, small, and semi-delicate in the washer anyways. The best thing to do is to iron them, but that takes way too much effort for a bajillion strips. However, I've found that despite the wrinkledness, if you straighten them out while applying it onto the wax, it still works just as well! The stiffness can just be solved by simply scrubbing a strip together before application as well.
