It says the results can be seen immediately but I've been using it for a week with no noticeable improvements. This is doing 30+ minute applications with rather uncomfortable trays in my mouth and cutting out colored drink consumption as recommended. Doing some research, apparently whitening gels are supposed to work better on yellow tinged teeth over gray or dulled teeth; well my teeth are yellow tinged. I feel like I'm making my teeth weaker and that's about it. When you don't see a noticeable improvement and you read all the warnings about the danger of using whitening gels (including from the seller,) you just want to give up on it quickly. Perhaps that's premature. Perhaps it's before the results kick in. I do know I had a sample for an over the counter teeth whitening strip from awhile back that actually seemed to work better and that was just a single application. And much less of a hassle. Right now I am wishing I bought a box of those things instead of this. The re-mineralizing gel actually seems to work and helps make your teeth feel stronger, but of course they give you much less of it.
I'll continue to use the gel for a full month just to try and get my money's worth. A trip to the dentist may be expensive, it may induce anxiety, but it's likely to be the only surefire way to get the results you'll want. And let's face it, if you're buying high concentration whitening gels, you want results. I'm going to try the strawberry + baking soda whitening solution next. If that ends up giving me better results than this, then I may lower my review to a single star. Will update my review if anything changes but so far it's just disappointment here.
UPDATE: Yeah, I would not recommend this product. Personally I'm going to stop using this immediately. If you want a whitening gel, buy a 10-16% carbamide solution instead. It may take longer to get any results (if you get any) but it will not ruin tooth enamel. 10-16% are the only ones accepted as safe by both the US and EU governments. If your teeth are a little see-thru using this will make it worse. I inspect the backsides of my teeth with a little mirror and even though I did not apply the whitening gel to that side of my teeth, one of them has a noticeable reduction in enamel to the point where it looks dingy. This wasn't there before. I should have done more research before I bought this. If you have less than perfect teeth (i.e. thin teeth, slightly translucent), you really shouldn't use this. But if you have perfect teeth, you probably don't need it anyway. If you want to try these whitening gels then buy the lower concentration ones. Really, I'm not sure what exactly I got out of this product. My teeth are worse off I think. I suppose the teeth trays I got can always come in handy for applying stuff to my teeth.
