Have you ever purchased the Space-Gard filter replacements that make you think you should be an accordian player? Well, that was me the first time, and I have to wonder what on earth was I thinking?!?! This replacement filter pack is the ONLY way to go! How easy this was! No more hanging the little accordian curtain in an impossible place to begin with! I was in and out of the basement in less than 10 minutes ... actually, it was so quick I went back twice just to make sure I had done it right, and I had!!! I'll never buy anything else again. And, they come in a pack of two, so I won't have to for quite a while anyway!Customer Review: Hrmpphhh....

We have a filter assembly that supports only this type of filter. I believe that it works pretty well. However I had a discussion with a friend who works on furnaces and air conditioners for a living. He strongly suggested that I change to a smaller filter and install a new filter frame. Apparently when the filter is too large and thick, it chokes back the air more than slimmer models and causes your furnace to expire more quickly. Not to mention that these cost around $20-$25 while the slimmer 3M replacements only cost a few bucks. Overall it works, but it might be best to switch if you're using these.Customer Review: Air Filter

Unfortunately the product ordered was not the correct product. I returned the item and did not reorder at this time. The cost to return the item UPS was almost as much as the item cost itself, so this was very disappointing; I realize this was my mistake. I'm sure the seller gets a better rate at UPS, so it may be worthwhile in the future to offer a pick-up return by the seller, but to be paid by the buyer, at a discounted rate for incorrect items that were ordered.Customer Review: No fuss replacement filter for Aprilaire furnaces

After futzing for years with the accordion replacement filters, I accidentally came across an ad for one of these filters for my Aprilaire furnace. Just received this filter in the mail, slid it into my furnace, and we are rockin' once again. Total time for installation: 3 mins. Previous time with the "expand your own accordion" type filter: 30 mins, and typically a torn filter.
Fantastic, and worth every penny!

This product works very well doing just what the ad states. It is so easy to install compared to the older style accordian type. I would definately recommend this product to anyone tired of fighting with the other style filter.
