Customer Review: It is all paper, but works fine

These are all paper filter, not like the original Trane that have a plastic/rubber frame to better seal and force all the air through the filter. I have the feeling that there is some air going around the filter, but if so, it is not a lot and the filter seems to work just fine.
The filter dimensions are comparable to the original Trane filter and fit just fine. The two in the package will be good for a year and I will most likely buy these aftermarket filters again as in a day to day operation, I do not see a difference to the more expensive Trane ones.
