My daughter has worn an eye patch on her eye since she was 10 months old to correct strabismus and we have tried about every product/trick imaginable to protect her skin around her eye. She is now almost 4-years-old and we have used Cavilon for a little over a year. It is fantastic - I use a foam eye shadow applicator to apply it where she would normally react to the adhesive (making sure not to get it to close to her eye) and it works every time. Previously, we'd even had instances where her skin would peel off with the patch when removed and not once has that happened with this product. It also works great when she gets rashes around her mouth in the colder months when she licks her lips/chin. It keeps the moisture away and allows the area to heal.
