Customer Reviews of 3M Microfiber Lens Cleaning Cloth, Color May Vary, 1 CountCustomer Review: Use on cell phone, PDA, computer screens, too Summary: 5 Stars
I probably never would have considered purchasing this cleaning cloth without having it recommended to me in an article about Treo 650 (smartphone) accessories.
Using anything other than a cleaning cloth designed for these sensitive surfaces can lead to scratches and permanent damage.
I carry it in my laptop case and use it almost daily, both to remove the oily residue left by my fingers that quickly builds up on my Treo's touchscreen, but also to keep my laptop computer screen sparkling.
It's fast, it's easy and it's a safe and inexpensive way to protect your investments.
Customer Review: Works well. Very small. Summary: 4 Stars
As someone else pointed out, this 3M Microfiber cloth is very small. That is both good and bad. I like that it's small enough to carry around for cleaning my camera lenses and sunglasses, but it is too small to clean my large flat screen screen TV. For what it is though, it does the job well. I keep one in my camera bag at all times. It does a good job of safely cleaning off smudges and fingerprints. It is also machine washable. I recommend it if you're looking for a small Microfiber cloth. If you're looking to clean larger items such as a flat screen TV, you'll want a bigger one though.
Customer Review: Best microfiber cleaning cloth Summary: 5 Stars
To give you an idea how much I love these, I bought a few to put in my different camera bags. They're just the right size and come in a small resealable plastic bag. I didn't have any issues with plastic bag adhesive sticking to the cloth. In fact, I am surprised at how long it's lasted (without interfering with the cloth). Anyhow, definitely keep it in the (a) plastic bag to keep it clean. It's so cheap, it's practically a no-brainer. While traveling in tropical climates, a good microfiber cloth can make the difference between getting the shot and no photo at all.
Customer Review: Expensive Summary: 2 Stars
Small and expensive: I had to buy this to meet Amazon's $25 free shipping. I was in a hurry and it's my fault that I didn't look closely at its description on the site; I just want to get the transaction over with. It does the job it says it will do but if you are only going to use this to clean your eyeglass lenses or your cellphone, you are better off with the ones sold at grocery checkout counters. For your very expensive DSLR, maybe. There are lens cloths that Walmart or Target sell in their optical stores that are much cheaper.
Customer Review: Perfect for Glasses and Lens Summary: 5 Stars
I keep a microfiber cleaning cloth in my pocket at all times because I can not stand for my glasses lens to not be clear. This cloth is the perfect size for me. It is large enough to clean the lens and small enough to not be a problem in my pocket. I like the texture of the cloth so that it grabs better.
Good cloths at a reasonable price. Does exactly what it should. I have purchased 3 so I can rotate them as they become dirty.
Highly recommended.
