This is the best diaper care product we have used. We tried some other fancy and expensive creams, but nothing worked as well as this. It absorbs well and makes a fine barrier against irritation, and heals irritated booties quickly. It also makes an excellent balm for very dry winter skin, and cracked skin at joints and folds. The best part is that because of its superior absorption, very little of it finds its way into our daughter's sensitive and hard to clean areas, unlike the others we've tried. My child has sensitive skin. I use this product on him and it works beautifully. Didn't have many cases of diaper rash. When we did have one, I would use the A&D Ointment with Zinc Oxide. It works great also.
I don't use any other types of diaper rash and/or ointments on him. Stick with something that works.

I love A&D ointment and use it on my son's bottom at EVERY diaper change to prevent diaper rash. He is almost 2 and has never had a bad case of diaper rash. This price is crazy, in the store the same item is under $5 and the one pound tub is about $11-$12. So $10 for 4 oz. is definitely WAY overpriced.Customer Review: Good for diaper rash

This is what we have used when our kids (I have three, one still in diapers) have a little redness in the diaper area. It goes on clear and there is no mess.
