I received this otoscope for a Christmas gift from my fiance. I was needing it for NP school. The otoscope is heavy and looks professional but it just doesn't quite muster up to the task. It is made of metal but the neck seems kind of "loosey goosey". Also the light bulb seems like it needs more juice or something to make it brighter. It does have an insufflator outlet but when I try to use my insufflator device air seems to leak around the lens. Also there is no easy way for me to use disposable specula with the otoscope. This is not a problem now since I am only needing the otoscope for school but it could become a problem later if I want to use my otoscope in my own clinic someday.
