I am 24 and I am starting to see small signs of age due to my excessive tanning over the years. I had some small wrinkles and discoloration that bothered me. I starting using Afirm 1x because of the recommendation to start with the lowest dose of retinol; this was about two weeks ago and I am extremely pleased. My skin tone is more even than I've ever seen it, my fine lines have almost disappeared completely and my acne is in check (for once!). I have been staying out of the sun, as directed, and will continue to do so. I recommend this product to anyone looking to start an anti-aging treatment. As I get older, I will start to use the stronger formulas, and hopefully will have the same fantastic results.

Description of AFIRM 1x .15% Retinol 1.05oz

AFIRM 1x .15% Retinol 1.05oz With the patented APS MICROSPONGE system containing .15% Retinol, is designed to minimize the appearance of aging due to sun damage: fine lines, brown spots and surface roughness. Regular use of AFIRM dramatically transforms your skin, providing a radiant glow. AFIRM should be used as part of a comprehensive skin care and sun avoidance program including the use of sunscreens. Ideal for those unable to tolerate Renova. Recommended to use the 1x if you are starting a retinol based product or have experienced any difficulty with stronger retinols or vitamin A creams in the past. Afirm can be irritating! Follow instruction card. Use alone, very sparingly (Pea-sized amount) every other night or less often as tolerated and wait 30 minutes after washing before applying. Not for use if pregnant or nursing.


Directions: After cleansing the skin, apply to the desired area once daily at bedtime. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
