The shampoo smells amazing! I have fine hair, damaged by multiple colorings, the combo of clove shampoo and conditioner has made an amazing and dramatic change in the overall appearance of my hair, though I'm not sure how much this shampoo would "enrich" color on its own, but the combo with conditioner is really fantastic!
Clove shampoo is slightly drying on its own (it'd be great for oily hair), it also washes out some of the color deposited by the conditioner, so this is where you have to watch for the "tub staining" mentioned by others. It is light amber brown in color, and has a pleasant spicy scent. It is not overpowering. It is a rich shampoo, not requiring more than a quarter sized dollop to wash my hair.
I'd give five stars for scent and four stars because of the slightly stripped and crisp feel of my hair after use. Five stars go for the overall feel of my hair after conditioning (with clove conditioner) and styling. Super smooth and shiny!
