Customer Reviews of Ace Fogless Shower Mirror

Customer Review: Works for me
Summary: 5 Stars

First off, to all those reviewers that have said that the suction cups don't work - maybe it's your shower wall tiles and not the suction cups. I'm guessing if your shower tiles aren't clean then the suction cups won't stick. My advice is to clean your tiles! This things sticks perfectly fine to the tile in my shower. The razor holder holds the razor perfectly too (Im using a Gillette Sensor). I filled the mirror with the warm shower water per the instructions and guess what....it works EXACTLY as advertised. The image in the mirror is crystal clear, stayed fog-free for as long as I needed and the option to tilt the mirror on an upward angle is a nice touch. Overall, I think this is a great product and well excecuted. Glad I made the purchase and well worth the inexpensive price.

Customer Review: Does exactly what it says
Summary: 5 Stars

I was tired of putting soap or shampoo on my old "fogless" mirror every time to try to make it just clear enough to make out the outline of my face. So, I ran across this, read the reviews and decided to get one. After using this for a couple months now I will never use anything else for my shower mirror. It has worked flawlessly! It is great to see when simple science can can come together with a well thought out design to meet your needs. I have had 0 issues with this product so far and would recommend it to anyone looking for a shower mirror.

Customer Review: Great Concept, needs a little help
Summary: 4 Stars

The concept of the Ace is to fill a reservoir behind the mirror with hot water from your shower. The heat from the hot water warms the mirror and prevents fog. Requires you to slide the mirror unit off a suction bracket and fill with hot water. An easy step, not a deal breaker.

The Ace works well and provides a clear shaving mirror that doesn't fog. The one draw back is the mounting system. I would like to see a glue or double sided tape mounting system rather than suction cups. Some fogless mirrors offer you a choice. When ordering the unit, be certain you have a smooth surface to stick the unit to.
My issues arose when I could not mount the unit to my tile surface. The side of the shower I wanted. My tile grout and uneven surface in my tile design didn't hold the suctions cups. I had to mount it on my shower door.

Overall, good cheap solution. Doesn't require any tools. Be certain you have a smooth surface and good light to shave. If you don't clean your mounting surface suction hold is limiting and your unit can fall. I give the unit a B+. Improvements would be the mounting system.

Customer Review: Does what it says it will
Summary: 4 Stars

At first the suction cups didn't hold, but now they are stuck on and have been for several weeks with no problem. The mirror doesn't fog when you fill the back with water. The drip hole to drain is nice, though the water drips down the razor when it is hanging in the razor holder.

Overall, seems a bit lightweight but who can complain when it works!

Customer Review: A fogless mirror that doesn't fog!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, and so far, he absolutely loves it. We had another "fogless" shaving mirror in the shower, and it always fogged and stayed that way. He couldn't shave. This one, with the water in the back, stays clear. His only comment about it would be that it would be nice if it had some kind of film to protect the mirror against hard water. Other than that, it's perfect.
