Aqcua Di Gio by Georgio Armani is by far my favorite cologne for men! This is one scent you can never go wrong with. Every woman I know loves it when the man in her life uses it. Guys love the scent and the reaction it gets from women. Aqcua Di Gio has the perfect blend of masculinity, sophistication and is very sensual withoutbeing overpowering to your senses. When my husband wears this he is often approached and asked what cologne he is wearing. He is not a big cologne guy, but wears this whenever he wants to get my attention! Although it is more expensive than many scents, it is by far worth the extra money. I can't get enough of my husband whenever he wears it. I snuggle up to him and bury my face in his neck and breath in the intoxicating smell of it. It smells so clean, like a crisp ocean breeze with hints of citrus, fruits and also a woodsy smell. OK this is my PSA (Public Service Announcement):
IF you are trying to get OUT of a relationship, dump a girlfriend, turn-off the ladies or whatever DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT.
A couple of weeks ago my Bride (hi honey - I love you!) dragged me to a mall-store that will go unnamed where I received a sample of Gio. The next morning after my shower I gingerly applied a drop or two strategically on my body, dressed and turned to face the day.
As I walked by my Bride she stopped me, sniffed the air around me, cocked her head to one side and gave me a look - you know THAT look. Since this is a family site I'll refrain from any further commentary but let's just say that I was walking taller, have lost TONS of weight, got my abs of pewter back, reclaimed all of my hair and youthful exuberance thanks to Mr. Armani and his wonderfully intoxicating potion.

I wanted this cologne for my mentally disabled son who is turning 18 and 2 weeks, I saw the cologne, ordered it, told him and he was excited because he was getting the same kind his uncle has. Then I get an email from amazon that says this vender cancelled the order, no reason given. I had to tell my son he isn't getting it for his birthday. So I started looking at my bill and it all looks fine, everyone else I ordered from that day is sending my orders. So I go to look at the item itself, and notice the price is much higher than what I originally paid for it. So I think I have figured it out. They made a mistake and sold it to me at a price they didn't want to sell it. Now I haven't heard back from them in email, but if that was the reason. I'm sorry, but I found it on the clearance page and I ordered it, paid for it, and now because THEY made a mistake, my son can't get it? This is my husband's cologne. He wore it when we were dating, unbeknownst to me, then started wearing something else that I thought didn't fit him as well. I asked him to try some of the old colognes in his cabinet a few months ago because I wanted to find the one that smelled like I remember. When he put this on, it was the one. I can't get enough of it. I love nuzzling my face in his neck just to get a whiff of it. Such a sensual and sophisticated scent for a man. I can definitely pick out the citrus and wood notes. I couldn't figure out the other notes, though, and thought perhaps there was something like pipe tobacco. It turns out its hints of jasmine and ocean - perfect. My own perfume, Obsession Night, uses hints of jasmine. No wonder we like each others scent. I only purchase perfumes and colognes from Macy's, though, so I can't speak to the quality or service of this provider (reason why only 4 stars).Customer Review: A light and fresh fragrance for men that women love.

This is one of the most popular mens' fragrances since it was launched by Giorgio Armani in 1996. The reason for its universal appeal its just the right blend of floral, fruity and musky notes to create an aroma that is pleasing for men to wear. And as a woman, I can vouch for its pleasant effect on my olfactory senses.

Top Notes : Florals/ Citrus - Jasmine, Rosemary, Hespiridic (citrusy)
Middle Notes: Fruity, fresh - Persimmon Fruits, Marine Notes
Base Notes: Woodsy, Musky - Cedar, Patchouli, White Musk, Rock Rose
The overall effect is not too overpowering, and the transition between notes is subtle. It's a fragrance that lends itself well to daytime wear as well as evening wear. I find it a very well balanced perfume that hits just the right notes and works very nicely for the "metro" man.
