I've used ShowerTek's Fog Free Mirror for years. Yes, its shell and componenets (except for the mirror, of course)are made of plastic but the device holds up extremely well. I won't buy any other make. Its price is great and gives perfect performance for which it is designed. Please note: when first installed the mirror component has a bit of a struggle to stay in place. After a few showers, it tightens up and works fine.Customer Review: it works!

*Pause valve does not really do much (but I wouldn't have used this feature, anyway)

I bought two of these mirrors - one for each bathroom. While installing the first one the mirror broke in my husband's hands (the wand broke off the mount and could not be re-attached). The second one went on fine, but the workmanship definitely isn't of the highest quality. However, becaise of the price (this costs about a quarter of the Sharper Image version) I would buy a replacement one for my second bathroom. It does actualy remain fog free!Customer Review: Finally .. a really fog-free mirror.

I bought this a few years ago and have never regretted the purchase. Every so often I need to windex the mirror surface, but it is always restored to its original spotless, fog-resistant state like it was new. The plastic water valve at the top of the armiture does take a little effort to move, but once you have it set, you don't much need to mess with it after that. The mirror needs very little water--just a trickle--to maintain the temperature behind the mirror, so you don't sacrifice any water from your nozzle.
My only complaint with this mirror is I wish I knew about it five years earlier, instead of putting up with a much lesser product for a long time.
