Customer Reviews of Adagio Marketing ShowerTek WV2 The Original Fog Free Shower MirrorCustomer Review: Product Great - Service & Delivery leaves a lot to question Summary: 5 StarsThe product was great. It is the second one I've purchased. The first one was at least ten years ago. I bought it in Montreal for $19.95.
The second one cost me $19.95 plus $20.00 for delivery and another $19.00 and change C.O.D. at the door for brokerage fees. This was after waiting a month for the delivery due to a misunderstanding and a lost email reply concerning the inability to deliver/ship to a post office box. I live 2 minutes from the post office in a small town and every knows everybody. I felt gouged by this practice and will hesitate long before ever purchasing anything through Amazon.
Thanks for asking

Customer Review: You have better options Summary: 2 StarsShaving in the shower is something I've been doing for many years, and I think it's the only way to go. You can stand up straight and really get your face wet and soapy.
For many years, I have used a very cheap suction cup fog free mirror. I'm sure I've used mirrors costing less than $10, that have lasted for years.
I have always wanted one of these mirrors with the circulating water. Now, my current apartment has a shower stall where the surface is not compatible with a suction cup, so I bought this one.
The product works pretty much as advertised, however, I have two criticisms:
1) The plastic piping is very weak. It doesn't support the mirror in the exact position I want, but, it's workable. I wonder how long it will last before it leaks, comes apart, or becomes even weaker and I have to adjust to it, rather than it adjusting to me.
2) It needs a LOT of water to be fog-free. I really don't like wasting water, and this bothers me. The water that circulates through the mirror just spits out the bottom, and is wasted.
Customer Review: Super Product Summary: 5 StarsI have owned my ShowerTek nearly as long as I have lived in my home--23 years. I am finally buying another one, because someone (not me) pulled and broke it where the flexible neck meets the mirror. Super glue isn't doing the trick, so time to get another one. I guess $1 per year isn't bad. Looks like the new models have two valves, whereas mine only has one. Since I have never used the valve to shut the water off to the mirror, I haven't had any issues with it. Also, we have hard water here, so, the flexible neck got some mineral build-up and held nicely wherever I moved it. As you can tell, I highly recommend it.
Customer Review: finally, a fog-free mirror that works! Summary: 5 StarsI've been through a number of regular fog-free mirrors. While they all start out just fine, they usually 'wear out' in time, losing their special coating, and are hard to maintain and clean properly.
The ShowerTek is such a simple idea, using hot water behind the mirror surface to keep it from fogging - and it works exactly as planned: I don't think I could ask for anything more really!
** EDIT: 2 years later, and finally my ShowerTek has bitten the dust. It's not so much that the mirror stopped fogging up, but more that the durability of the plastic articulated arm and valves with all the hard water in our area has finally seen the valves leaking and the tubular arm getting very stiff and eventually breaking. Oh well, 2 years of solid use in a very harsh continual water climate isn't really too bad for less than $20. **
Customer Review: Excellent Product !! Summary: 5 StarsI got on Amazon today looking for this specific product and am disappointed to see it is currently unavailable.
I am looking because the one I purchased in 1990 finally failed on me this morning. The flexible extension broke from years of manuevering it up and down in the shower. It is still working, but now it is hanging from a thin rubber tube and I think it is probably best to replace it before the tube breaks.
It is simple to install, it screws on to the pipe your shower head is now hooked up to and then the shower head attaches to the unit. Water runs though it to keep it fog free. You adjust the volume of water the first time you use it and then never again so you really shouldn't have any problems with the control "breaking off".
In my view, any product that sells in the $20.00 range and lasts 15 plus years and does exactly what it is advertized to do for all of that time deserves an excellent rating. I will find it somewhere else and buy it, again.
