Customer Reviews of Adovia Natural Dead Sea Mud Soap - Great for Eczema, Psoriasis or Acne!Customer Review: FINALLY SOMETHING THAT WORKS! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this soap not realizing this company sells a bar specifically for acne, but this one works great for me! I'm 24 and have adult onset acne on face and back and have tried everything over the counter to treat it. I have VERY sensitive, fair skin and the harsh chemicals in the products really dried out and sometimes burned my skin. I was at the point of seeing a dermatologist for help, but I wanted to try this one last thing as it is a natural product and different than anything else I have tried.I have only been using this soap for a few days and already I see a huge difference in my face and back. So much smoother and softer already, and the pimples I have are already getting cleared and no more have appeared. I try to use it every day in the morning, and a couple times at night as well. I haven't been completely religious with it and it is still working better than anything else I have tried. The price is definitely worth it, it is the only thing that has worked for me! It is a little bit drying but nothing a moisturizer can't fix.
Customer Review: Amazing Product Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a skin product junkie. I've used most of everything for mild acne, from accutane to epiduo gel, and while those work, they do not compare to this little bar of soap! I was using Pevonia skin care for problematic skin, and that works well. I stumbled upon this soap by accident, and read all of the reviews on it. So I ordered it. When it came in i was skeptical about washing my face with soap. I decided i would just wash my forehead with it. After a few days all the little bumps had gone away, so i started washing my whole face! All i can say is WOW!!!!!!!! My skin felt so clean and it finally wasn't oily anymore at the end of the day. Everybody at work said how my skin was glowing and how good it looked. That was only after using it for 2 days! If you have mild acne like i do, you must try this I don't know how good it works on severe acne, but i say give it a By far one of the best and cheapest products out there. I don't even use my expensive Pevonia products anymore! Love it
Customer Review: Great product Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this soap about 2 month ago from Amazon website. It was then for $6.99. Now I went back to buy again, but price went up. I "google" around and find another website that sells this product for $6.99 and if you by more then 3 there is father discount applied. Also if you use discount code GLOW you will get extra 10% off (any size order)and all orders $25.00 and over ships free (only until March 9th)plus you will get free samples. So for this time I purchased this soap from cleopatraschoice website.
Back to soap. I love it. It has very light sent. One bar lasted for about 4 weeks and I use it also for my body. It also helps to clear your skin on your back as well. Also I noticed that it lightens your skin. If you have any little pigmentation some how it makes it less noticeable. It takes about a week to see results.
I highly recommend this product. By the way this brand (Adovia)is very popular in Europe and cost there much more.
Customer Review: Great soap for those with oily skin Summary: 3 Stars
This is a very good soap, which has been very good to my oily skin. I've mostly used it on my face, although I am tempted to use it on my body (and expend it quicker in the process), which suffers from acne from time to time. I bought this soap at $6.99.
As of 11-14-2010, MSRP directly from the manufacturer is $6.99, while the price from the distributor selling on Amazon is $7.99. A firm warning to the distributor: this is a good soap, but it is not a $30.00 soap. Many savvy Amazon shoppers use "The Camelizer" add-on for Firefox to see product pricing histories. Jacking up prices according to market buzz trends (natural or pre-initiated) among skin disorder communities may seem like a good idea, but people who eventually catch on will write negatively about and it will result in a severely negative backlash by consumers. I will not support a distributor (Health Sales Plus) if they continue this practice, and will take my purchases elsewhere.
Customer Review: Okay all around Summary: 3 Stars
I started using this soap on July 23. I use it two a day, when i shower and before I go to bed.
Acne: oily in the T-Zone area with about 1-4 breakout a week. sucks! After using this soaps my current two pimples have dried up and nothing new has come up which it would have done by now without it. And it's VERY drying :( But afer a couple of weeks my face got use to it so its not as drying anymore. My face has always been soft so i cant say this product made my face soft but i still have some of my acne scars which I was hoping it was treat but eh. When i broke out around my period, the soap didnt resolve the issue at all.
Skin: I have a bit of my skin issue on my shoulders and hip. It did help b/c it started going away however it didnt "fix" it like I had hoped but it did help with my body acne.
August 19. Soap for my acne? No. For my eczema? yes. Body acne? Yes
