It's hard to guage how effective it is. It's not that bad tasting and it certainly gives you some sort of psychological comfort.
Although it says it's something like 1700% the daily value of vitamin
C -which sounds great... I doubt the human body is capable of retaining and putting to use such large quantities of vitamins in one dosage, so you're probably getting rid of most of it via excretion. However, I'm sure it's better than doing nothing - so you make the calculation of what you think the *possible* benefits are worth to you in dollar amounts.

I can't answer this question. I felt a cold coming on, took this product and did not get a cold. Instead of getting a summer cold I thought I would at least try this product. In the specific instance I used airborne it seemed to work. Take this for what it's worth.
