My twins have been very sick this past week 10/10/04
I knew I was going to get their bad cold. but I remembered I had heard about Airborne. SO I bought some and tried it!
It worked! I didn't get sick! I started to get sick.. but them I started to take this and I got all better!
The taste was not bad. I was going to drink fast and just deal with the taste but didn't have to. I really liked it! It worked for my husband as well! It is a bit of $$ but worth it! I have bought more and will keep buying it!
I didn't think it would work.. but it did! I'm so happy I didn't get sick!!

Airborne was recommended to me by my sister. She and her husband have used it many times and had very good results. Unfortunantly, some of us have an unpleasant reaction to the formula. Both myself and another sister's husband have gotten sick from this tablet. We both experienced nausea and diarrhea very soon after taking the tablet. I had to miss a night class and lost 5 1/2 lbs. the night I took this. It also sent my brother-in law straight to bed. I think it did help a little with the cold, but because I couldn't take more tablets the cold came on anyway. I take many supplements and my guess is one or more of the herbs may cause this reaction in some people.Customer Review: Kept me from getting the yuck going around at work

I was introduced to this by one our library pages. I work at a public library and the staff was getting severe colds that were putting them out of work for a week or more. As it made it's progression through the department, I took the generic form of this which is just as good and less then half the cost. So far I'm one of three people (the other two being the cataloger in the basement and the library page) on staff who hasn't come down with any sort of sickness. Now I don't think this is going to help you at all if you have the beginning symptoms. I think it's optimal when everyone else has the yucks and you don't. If you have symptoms I suggest Coldeaze.Customer Review: Only good as a preventive measure

When I've taken Airborne to prevent from getting a flu or cold that's circulating around, it seems to be effective. However, when taken after I've already started to experience symptoms, it can actually prolong the duration of a cold or flu. 3 people in our family got a flu. Two took Airborne once symptoms appeared, and one didn't take any at all. The one that didn't take any had a flu for about 3 days, then was fine. The two that took it were sick for nearly two weeks with mild symptoms that re-occur every afternoon and last all evening. Headache, sore throat, low-grade fever, body aches, fatigue. Obviously, in this case, it didn't work very well.Customer Review: Why the artificial sweetner?

At first glance this seems like such a great product. Lots of herbs and other supplements. But if you read the small print on the back, bottom of the box... this product contains Acesulfame Potassium, for some people a controversial artificial sweetener. You won't see artificial sweeteners in any health food store supplements, and it makes me question the legitimacy of this product as an herbal supplment.
I would recommend instead of this product something like Alacer's Emer'Gen-C vitamin packets. They are sweetened with fructose and naturally flavored. Or Zicam Cold Remedy.
