Customer Reviews of Airborne Effervescent Health Formula, Zesty Orange, 30-Count Boxes

Customer Review: A rip-off, plus poor customer service and dangerous levels of vitamin A and C
Summary: 1 Stars

I'm usually not one to cheer at a class-action lawsuit, but I am glad the makers of this product were sued and lost.

This product not only does not work, it also contains dangerous levels of vitamin A and C. If you want to OD on vitamin A and get a kidney stone, by all means, use this product.

This product did not go through any safety testing, and if you hear anything about a "test" that "proved its effectiveness" you have to understand, it was the two-man, fake operation they are referring to that sparked the lawsuit.

Finally, this company has terrible customer service. Before I learned what a fake and dangerous product this is, I emailed them a question and a compliment about their product. They NEVER got back to me. Then I got suspicious and did some research and learned what I am telling you here.

The only vitamin that has been proven to reduce cold symptoms is zinc.

Do your research before you risk your health with this product.

Customer Review: Works every time
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been taking Airborne for years now and it really does work. And I don't think it's a placebo effect because other natural remedies have not worked for me (except zinc lozenges, which also work, but they taste so awful). I have a small child in school and so she gets frequent colds. I give her small doses of Airborne when she has cold symptoms and it seems to help, but I can't know for sure.

I usually start taking Airborne when she comes home with a cold and every time I've done so, I haven't caught the cold. Coincidence? Could be. But when I don't take it and I do start having symptoms myself, I take the Airborne and the symptoms are gone - and I mean completely gone - when I wake up the next morning. In the past five years, I have not once had cold symptoms that lasted more than 24 hours. No residual stuffy nose or cough (and I'm a smoker - so the coughs I used to get from colds would linger for a couple of weeks) - no nothing. I'm completely sold on this stuff.

Customer Review: Airborne does work for me
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been taking Airborne for years and it really works, at least for me and my family. About those clinical studies, I really don't care about them all that much. You just can't trust everything you read nowadays, especially some of those so called scientific research and studies backed by groups with different agendas. Sometimes what it really comes down to is corporate profits and market share. Airborne is a nutritional supplement, it boosts body's immune system to fight off the cold or flu virus. My conclusion for this particular product is that if you hardly ever catch a cold, you probably don't need it. Otherwise, take Airborne as a preventive measure against cold and flu, or at least when you suspect that you are about to catch a cold. Airborne is kind of useless if you are already in the middle of a full blown cold. Again, people should keep in mind that this is only a supplement, it's not a miracle cure, but it does work as advertised.

Customer Review: Just what the Homeopathic Doctor ordered!
Summary: 5 Stars

You can't get more convenient than this three-pack of Airborne. 30 tablets is enough for a month of care (or more than a month, in the case of February). This pack of Zesty Orange represents the best flavour, though it does leave an unsightly chalk ring in my glass once I've drained the draught.

I can't say for certain that Airborne is the sole reason, but I usually take a tablet a day and I haven't gotten sick yet during this cold and flu season. And that's in spite of living and working at a university, where I have interaction with many different people each day. Airborne certainly doesn't hurt - and the vitamins (A, C, E, B2) and minerals (Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, Manganese, and Potassium) supplement my rather poor diet. Give it a try, see if it helps you remain healthy and strong!

Customer Review: Keeps me healthy when I travel--and I travel A LOT!
Summary: 5 Stars

I travel frequently to different parts of the world. Not only does Airborne keep me "healthy", so to speak, so that my immune system is functioning at 100% when I arrive at my destination, but the Airborne also helps decrease the affects of jet lag.

No matter whether it is a 6-hour flight or 26-hour marathon of connections, the Airborne makes me feel more refreshed. I have to remind myself to take it every 4 hours on flights (hard to do when you are halfway around the globe and haven't slept well), so I keep my watch on my hometown time and do the countdown that way, at least until I reach my final destination.

This was a real lifesaver on a 34 hour-trip to a South African safari television filming. The rest of my cohorts were dozing in the Land Rover while I was bright-eyed and chipper, able to observe the wildlife around me.
