If you enjoy going out and socializing this is a necessity! It is amazing to see how many people think they're fine to drive home after a couple of drinks and then register a number above what is allowed.If you get pulled over- your life will change considerably!! The other night ,at friends, I had 1 drink before dinner and a glass and a half of wine with dinner...and, before leaving, I checked and found that I was a .09 (NH is .08) I had to wait for another 1/2 hr before I felt safe to drive home. I bought one for every family member and our friends have followed suit. Annoyingly- you guys have gone up 10 bucks in the past month because you WERE a great price but, at any rate, this is a good, reliable product.Customer Review: Accidently ordered 2 and both read different readings

I accidently ordered 2 at the the same time, I feel I should have been warned that I might be making a mistake during the order, but I guess that was my fault. I compared them to see how accurate they were and the one read anywhere from .03 to .07 different from the other one. I also got charged for shipping for one but not the other. I sent them back to the manufactor and they supposedly checked them out and said they were only off by .01 now. I had to pay shipping for that also. I also didn't realize that they have to be re-calibrated as often as once a month, which takes a week and cost 19.99 plus shipping. So all and all I'm not very happy. Thank you. It's a good product that is more useful for laughs on a night out than it is for accurately predicting your BAC.
I bought it for my brother for his 21st birthday and we had everyone from my grandparents to my 21 year old brother using blowing into the breathilyzer to test their alchohol level.
The major drawback of using this is you have to wait a good 15-20 minutes after your last beer or 20-30 minutes after your last shot before testing yourself to get an accurate reading. Though it is fun to chug a beer and see how high high of a reading you can get.
Just as a heads up, this thing burns through batteries.

This BAC tester is an excellent investment to avoid DUI arrests. It's easy to use, comparatively small, yields fast, easy to read, digital readings to two decimal places. The wider range in BAC levels allows you not to just determine if you at or over the legal limit, but allows you to monitor your BAC levels over time. By doing this you can get a better idea of how fast you process alcohol in the bloodstream, as well as get a more precise handle in terms of physical feeling, walking or speech at various BAC levels. For its nominal cost, it is something everyone that drinks socially should have in their vehicle and use before they decide to drive.Customer Review: Not perfect but....

I've had mine for several months. It works well to let you know how close to the legal limit you are. I've used it with multiple friends on the same evening to see who would drive. My only complaint (and this is with all devices not just this one) is that you don't really know when it needs to be calibrated. You have to guess when the readings seem to be much higher than you think they should be. It would be great if the company could develop something to tell you when its not acurate. I actually bought a second one to use while the first is being calibrated. Well worth the money to avoid a DUI. Everybody should have one!
