I have no clue why this product gets such good reviews! We tried several samples before deciding to return this item. The readings were not consistant and measured very low levels. I would never rely on this toy to determine whether you were at a safe level to drive. I wouldn't even reccomend this as a novelty for parties.
Amazon processed my return with no problems and did not charge shipping or any kind of restocking fee.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM... if you are going to buy a breathalyzer, spend the extra buck and get one that gives accurate readings.
I was PISS drunk one night and decided to see how drunk I really was... I blew a 0.08... I tend to make some pretty bad choices when drunk... but even I knew, in my intoxicated state, that I would not have been good to drive!
I do not find this item to give accurate results.

My husband has had 3 DUI's and lost his privilege to drive. Which is a good thing! No one needs people like him driving around. Unfortunately for us, we now have to drive him to work, back home and everywhere else. He is supposed to be alcohol free at all times. He lied to me too many times so I got this to keep him honest. This device takes a long time to activate. It starts counting down from 60 and then starts recounting down from 10, over and over again. This is not what you need when you are trying to decide whether to drive or not. New batteries does not solve this problem. This analyzer is JUNK. I am now looking to buy another one. It was fun while it worked, so I bought a second one for the other vehicle. We got about 3 months use out of both before they quit working. All they do now is count down over and over and over, never taking a reading. They are now completely useless.
By the way, when they did work, they seemed pretty inaccurate. Nothing more than a novelty. Don't waste your money.
