While I have not been able to compare the results of this affordable device with more precise breathalyzers, the results seem to be reasonable. I am satisfied with its performance. Its a lot of fun to bring to parties. But also its valuable to gain an understanding of how alcohol consumption affects blood alcohol level - especially since its different for every individual.Customer Review: simple easy and does what it supposed to do

what better place and event to test this new item then Oktoberfest. I am in the military and stationed in Germany, me and some buddies of mine had a chance to attend the festival in Munich. After roughly 60 seconds of calibration its ready for you to use and it seemed to be accurate but mind you for best results you should wait 20 mins after last drink or smoking before use.Customer Review: alcohawk slim digital tester did not work accurately

the one i ordered did not work accurately. the same person would test out completely different readings and big difference in a matter of a few moments. i had just drank three drinks new years eve and then tested myself and it read 0.0. My son said 1.8 and a few minutes later 3.2. He was not "that" intoxicated. Dont know if I just got a bad unit or if they are just junk.Customer Review: Works just fine.

This device does everything it says it does: one button activation, reasonable results, great price. It's an appropriate size and the quality is completely acceptable for this price range. I am also happy that three mouthpieces were provided. I can't really think of any reason to spend 3 or 4 times this much for a device that doesn't have any additional functionality.Customer Review: great little tool

I bought this breathalyzer because I suspected that my teenage daughter had been drinking. Now she knows that I have it and will test her every time she comes home and so far so good. The Alcohawk works great. It only takes about a minute to use and is very accurate ( my husband and I have tested it out :-} ) For the price you cant go wrong.
