Ive had this breathalyzer for a couple months now
yes it usually takes about 60 seconds to calibrate each time(sometimes more, sometimes less) but after that it works like a charm giving pretty accurate results within a .01 or .02 every time if you blow multiple times.

I was skeptical about this, thought it would be more of a toy than an actual tool that would protect me from my drunk self. There is something about seeing the number of your BAC % that will make you stop and think before you drive after drinking. This product works and it got to me in a couple of days. After searching through many reviews of breathalyzers to get for my boyfriend for his birthday, I finally settled on this one based on the price and comments. I was definitely satisfied with the product which works amazingly well when you follow the directions. A good value for the money. It works great. It does take up to 30 seconds to reset. It seems very accurate. I had the more expensive model and I like this one better. I am going to get one for my son in college. I am not sure if it states it in the manual but it's most accurate if you wait 1/2 hour after drinking to use it.Customer Review: Great Tester

The device is great. It calibrates automatically once you turn it on, and gives you a quick and accurate reading. This product is great ESPECIALLY when considering the cost. I was hesitant to buy it because of the other review, but am glad I did because its much cheaper than the other devices and works flawlessly so far.
