Having used this filter for a year, which I frankly think should be a requirement for most reviews, I can recommend this filter without reservation. It's extremely quiet at the lowest speed setting, quieter than any other filter I've used. Equally as important, even at the highest settings, the QUALITY of the white noise produced is very clean - no buzzing, whining or humming - just clean white noise. The quality of the filtration seems to be consistent with the professional test results - class leading. This is an excellent product.Customer Review: 2 Units broken

First unit the fan was ridiculously loud (obviously a problem). The motor spindle was loose or something and couldn't be fixed apparently. They sent a whole new unit. The 2nd brand new unit burnt out after 2 weeks. Electronics smelling (even when the unit is turned off, there is a humming noise and electronics burning smell). This item is junk. I researched this product online and decided to take a chance ($500?!)...figured I had 30 days to decide. I waited a bit impatiently for it to arrive but when it did I immediately ripped open the package, plugged it in and....NOTHING. The thing wouldn't even power on. Excellent product, works very well with tobacco smoke and cooking odors. Just set it to automatic, it is silent most of the time but will automatically adjust if it detects smoke or odor. Worth the money.Customer Review: AIR PURIFIER

works great - had none of the problems others have voiced - ordered a 375 after good results from a 350 because it has a couple more features which I have found useful since i recieved it
