Customer Review: Makes my life so much easier!!!

The day after I wash my hair I have oily roots that make my blonde hair look dark and dirty. I was desperate for a product that would allow me to go longer in between hair washings since my fine hair gets brittle and damaged when I wash it every day. After a lot of research, I chose Algemarin. What a great choice! I've seen some of the comments about the cans clogging, but they've either fixed the problem or I've gotten lucky. I spray it in very short bursts, so it may help keep the nozzle clear. I've also seen comments about it being too powdery or not blending well. If I gradually apply it (not too much at once) I find it is easy to blend. After running my fingers through my roots to shake loose any extra powder I use my round brush and blow dryer to get rid of even more. I do not coat the rest of my hair - just the roots. This works well for my blonde hair, but I don't know if this technique would work well for other hair colors.
I love the fact that I can now go two, three, or even four days before I have to wash my hair again. I feel like I require so much less maintenance now!! I'm hooked!!

I NEVER write reviews, but I was so impressed with this particular product that I had to let it be known that 'ALGEMARIN DRY-POWER SPRAY SHAMPOO' is the BEST I've ever used. I only ordered one can the first time, just in case it wasn't a good product. The price is very reasonable, by the way. I got 6 good uses out of that first can, and my hair is fairly long. Well, this time around I ordered 2 cans. I works just like it says it does on the can. I spray it on, brush my teeth, and do my hair. It drys fast (2 minutes), and I brush it out, and it looks and feels like I just washed my hair. It even smells fresh and clean. I was standing next to a friend the day I used it, and she asked me what kind of shampoo I used, because my hair smelled so nice. I told her what it really was, and she ordered a couple of cans the next day. Just had to spread the good word. Another satisfied customer, people!

I get very excited when a product actually delivers on it's promise. I've tried other similar products, the Bumble&Bumble powder is very expensive and messy, plus it wipes out your shine and weighs down the hair. The Klorane is good, (not the extra gentle one - the regular one), it has the faintest scent but it's not nearly as effective as the Algemarin. The Algemarin smells strongly perfumey at first, but the scent almost disappears and leaves your hair clean, mine actually looks like I shampooed it, and that was what I was going for. I'm not able to cut my blowdrying and flat-ironing in half and will be saving my hair! Great product. I shampoo for real one day and use this the next day. AND it's about half the price of the Klorane. (Psssst isn't as good either and smells like deodorant.) Algemarin ROCKS.Customer Review: Disappointing

I tried this after using 2 other similar products and I have to say I was disappointed. My hair did feel clean after using Algemarin but it felt like straw - very firm and dry with no shine whatsoever. I also couldn't style it after use and that's a major disadvantage because my hairstyle was quite messed up after brushing off the spray.
My bottle malfunctioned after only 4 uses - it could only dispense liquid without the starch. Since the starch is what actually absorbs oil form the hair it was completely useless and I had to throw it away.
Overall not worth the money, I will be going back to Psssst!

I've tried three dry shampoos so far: Pssst!, Klorane, Algemarin, and Bumble & Bumble (updated). This one if by FAR the best one out of those four. It has a nice smell, doesn't dry out my hair, and a little goes a long way. Since I tried the colored B&B dry shampoo, you should know that it made my fingertips brown every time I'd touch my hair. That...and it dried the tar out of my hair.
If you're looking for an EXCELLENT dry shampoo, try this one first and save yourself some time. I'm going to be stocking up, personally.
