I like this product, with one exception. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars. It doesn't dissolve well in cold water wash (we have soft water). I run warm water, add detergent and swish before adding the clothes. As this is an extra step, I think I prefer the liquid Free Clear product better. It does seem to be Allergen free as I have two folks in my home with sensitive skin and allergies and they have had no detergent reaction to their skin.Customer Review: dissolves great - excellent price and great product

I've been on the subscribe and save for a few months. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I have had no problems with this detergent dissolving. I have a top loading Kenmore than is about 5 years old and we do about 13 loads of laundry a week and we have hard water. This is an excellent price with no sales tax and free shipping. And no fragrances or unwanted chemicals in the soap...Customer Review: Excellent Washing Detergent

I have previously searched for this item in many stores and it is not available. This product was recommended by our Doctor to prevent some allegeries and itching. We have used this product for at least 2 years and hope to continue. I will have to make our washing detergent without scents if this product is not available. Excellent value when purchased via Amazon using available discounts and free shipping. Hard to find in stores at any price. Not sure if the cleaning power is as good as Tide's, but I can't in good conscience use P&G products, so 'all' is my choice. One negative: the lines on the scoop are hard to read, so I probably use too little or too much powder per load.Customer Review: Does not dissolve in cold water

Bought this to use for our baby's clothes. Most baby clothes require a cold wash, though, and not all of the detergent breaks down in cold water (at least not in _soft_ cold water). That means that several items are always full of detergent granules that are sticking to them. Works fine in warm and hot washes.
