Customer Reviews of Allergan Refresh Plus Lubricant Eye Drops Single-Use Vials - 100 ct.

Customer Review: I stick by these daily.
Summary: 5 Stars

These tears are perfect for lasik dryness. I use about 3 of them a day. I am on the computer for over 12 hours a day and I am constantly lubing my eyes up with these things. Once my eyes are lubed up and I start blinking, they feel great again. The vials they come in can be re-closed and reused as long as you do it within 24 hours. They have no preservatives like the doctor recommends. Each vial is small enough to carry in your backpack and pocket. Always have eye drops with you at all time if you had lasik done. Nothing hurts more than an eye lash in your eye or dryness throughout the night. These will save the day.

I alternate between these with Systane. The Systane drops work well too, but cloud my eye up instantly before working. These tears work instantly. The refresh tears are a lot cheaper per vial.

Customer Review: Hard getting the last drop!
Summary: 3 Stars

The solution itself is adequate, but like other reviews have written, the unnecessary ridges in the vials traps the liquid into a frustrating game of getting every last drop. Pretty poor form by the company considering the price. Blink Tears also has this practice. Given that most of these rewetting products are similar, I would recommend testing different products before committing to one.

I had PRK and also suffer dry eye. Each drop lasts me around 10-15 minutes of comfort and causes very slight blurriness. I don't see much difference between this product and Blink Tears. Systane Ultra gives me the best comfort but the tradeoff is more blurriness due to the lubricating agent and much more expensive per vial. I haven't tried Tears Naturale as another review has recommended, but I'll order that the next time.

Customer Review: Very convenient, good relief for dryness
Summary: 5 Stars

I spend very long hours staring at a computer screen and I apparently forget to blink often enough - this has led to itchy, dry eyes, especially right after a shower following an extended session. These provide immediate relief, and significantly, I can keep a few vials at home, work, backpack, bath cabinet, etc. making them very convenient.

My ophthalmologist recommended using such drops (she did not insist on a brand) and also added a mild +0.7 mag to my prescription astigmatism glasses to use for work. This combination has worked really well and I feel a lot less eye strain (and neck strain! I used to sub-consciously crane my neck close to my hi-res monitor)

Customer Review: I'm a fan
Summary: 5 Stars

I'd never used eye-drops before but my buddy handed me a few of these to try and I'm hooked.

Refresh is RIGHT.... just felt so pleasant in the eyes...almost too good that I worried there was weird stuff in here lol....

Just makes your eyes feel calm, fresh, clean... just good...highly recommended.

ps. It's quite a psychological game dropping drops into your eyes ... the tension can get quite great as you think you have a drop ready and then it doesn't fall. Haha. I like that the cap reseals it so you can get 2 rounds out of these if esp if you're as bad a shot as I am.

Customer Review: Just ok. Small vial size, hard to get the last drop out.
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought these first after my PRK eye surgery at CVS. The CVS 60-pack was about the same price as the 100-pack on Amazon Prime, so order #2 went to Amazon.

Then I got Tears Naturale Free just to mix it up a bit, and WOW those were so much better.

Complement for this product: each vial is resealable, allowing you to use it 2-3 times per eye

Shortcomings of this product:
- small volume per dropper relative to Tears Naturale Free (which lets you use it 4-5 times)
- dropper doesn't always surrender every drop of liquid
- other brands feel better to my eye
