Please don't be fooled that this is a weightless "answer in a bottle". Alli is meant to supplement an exercise program along with a sensible eating plan. If you make the mistake into thinking that all you need do is take this product, and you will drop pounds, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. On the other hand, if you've committed to reducing your fat calories, and eating sensibly, the addition of this product will certainly allow you to lose three to five percent more weight. I guarantee, you will experience man adjustment phase. Once in which you will take the product and regulate how much fat you eat in a meal. In the initial learning phase, if you have not trimmed much of the fat from your meal, be ready for some soiled underwear. On the other hand, if you make the mistake of taking one of these pills in conjunction with a triple-decker hamburger, you better be wearing a "Depends". Eating sensibly, exercising then I have the chance, and taking Alli, I have lost 45-pounds since February. Despite being aware of the warnings, I too have had several accidents. Overall, it is a good product and performs as expected. I am sure that of the weight I lost, probably ten of those pounds are attributed to Alli.Customer Review: Follow the Plan

I'm 56 and have been taking Alli the past 6 months. I've lost 40 pounds and feel better than I have in many years (from a size 16 to a size 10). I recommend starting the food plan at least 3 days before taking the pills to detox your system. Once you get used to the low fat diet, you'll feel so good you won't crave those fatty cheeseburgers and french fries anymore. It's definitely a life change and not a diet.
Just to update, I have kept the weight off and continue to use Alli. The best thing about this program is that it does change your eating habits, or "suffer the consequences". That keeps me on track, otherwise, it's just too easy to fall back into bad habits. Over the past two years, I've found great substitutes for fatty dishes just by using olive oil instead of butter, turkey instead of beef etc. You don't have to give up the flavors of things you like, seasonings are zero fat, so bump it up with onion, cilantro, peppers, cumin, garlic etc. Enjoy your food and enjoy your weight loss! Hint: if I know we have plans to go out to eat over the weekend, and that I have a high fat craving, I simply quit taking Alli a full 2 days prior to the event, and I don't start back on it until a full 2 days after.

This is the first diet product I've used that actually works. Although you are allowed to take up to 3 capsules a day, I chose to take only once a day or when needed for days when I eat foods very low in fat or I end up eating only once or twice a day. Because of my schedule I don't really exercise and I am still able to lose weight. I do experience side effects. I've felt discomfort in my stomach especially taking it after a high fat meal. You're supposed to follow a regimen of low fat diet and exercise, but if you don't, it will still work, but you suffer the consequences. I've had some "accidents". Basically, it feels like you're passing gas, but then you pass foul smelling oily/greasy substance. Depending on how much fat you've consumed, it can be a lot. The key is to use pantyliners , keep an extra underwear at work and try to wear black pants. I still give it five stars just for the fact that it works. I lose a few pounds every month without even trying. It's pretty amazing. The best part for me is that I don't feel guilty enjoying my favorite foods like ice cream and pizza. I just pop a pill and get the pantyliners ready. It's worth it for me.Customer Review: Good Product

I've been tasking alli for about 2 /1/2 months now and i like the product. Since my first purchase of it, it has made my family and i smarter about what we eat. We very rarely buy foods now that are more than the 3g to 100/cal ratio. and it amazes us which foods are healthier than others. But more than just the program and the online support, the capsules help to. By knowing i have to take a capsule with every meal (and i do unless it's fat free), i actually eat lunch, i have snacks before and after but sometimes i just nibble and don't really eat and then later i would eat a lot. Since i started exercising and using alli i've lost 17lbs. i haven't lost any over the past 3 wks b/c i've stopped exercising (holidays get busy) I have not experienced any treatment effects, and the reason is NO MORE THAN 15g of fat per meal a day. and no rolling over the difference in grams to the next meal either. I like this product and it works well for me. I've also recommended it to my sister-in-law as her body has difficulty processing fats and this would all the fats to pass through her system.
Basically Alli is a gr8 product, if you stick with it.

10 months ago I started a weight loss competition with a large group of friends. My "secret weapon" was Alli - in addition to a healthy diet and lots of exercise. A few months later, I was the winner at 49lbs lost!
But I kept going, because I had momentum. After a few more months, I was down 80lbs from my starting weight. Over the last 3 months, I've held my weight steady before continuing to lose more. And unlike most of the people in our weight loss competition, I haven't put any weight weight back on because I continue to avoid junk food and I continue to take Alli after eating out or having a not-as-good-for-me meal.
In nearly a year of taking Alli, I haven't had any "technical difficulties" with my digestive system, although I wouldn't doubt that some people with more sensitive systems might, because unlike most of the "snake oil" weight-loss products out there, this one actually works.
Am I satisfied with Alli? I would say "heck yeah!" 80lbs in 6 months earns an automatic 5-star rating. Keeping that weight off another 4 months earns it a 6th star!
