Customer Reviews of Alpine Innovations Spudz Microfiber Cloth in Black Pouch, 6X6Customer Review: sputz microfiber Summary: 4 StarsNot bad, especially for the price. When it comes from the factory I would recommend pulling the cloth out and shaking the lint off. I made the mistake of taking it out and wiping down my lenses...and the cloth deposited the lint on it. That's the only reason it got 4 stars.
Customer Review: Very Useful Summary: 5 StarsThese are great little gifts that anyone with a laptop, camera, smartphone, glasses, or electronic device with a smudged screen must have.
They're pretty small, maybe no bigger than a crunched up dollar bill. The cloth has a surface area the size of a CD case, so it's perfect for small electronics. I'm aware that the company also sells larger versions of this product, so look around for that if you need something bigger.
But why should you get microfiber cloths in the first place? Why not use a paper towel, a bath tower, or even your tshirt? I can't tell you the exact science behind it, but apparently there are tons of little fibers in the cloth that make it better at picking up small dust particles. Just make sure you clean them every once in a while otherwise it'll be just like cleaning a screen with a dirty sheet of paper.
