I've been taking this acai powder for almost a year now and I love it! It is well worth paying the price and getting used to the taste. As a nurse working late into the evening, I would often wake up feeling achy and exhausted. While I still sometimes am tired, the achy body/legs have pretty much gone away. I take much less motrin than I used to. I also find that I get sick a lot less. Even when I get a rare cold, the symptoms are less severe and clear up quickly. When my husband takes it regularly, his skin clears up beautifully. I tried other brands and did not get the same results as with amazon thunder. Every morning I add it to my cereal or oatmeal and have gotten used to the taste. I highly recommend it to others to try!!Customer Review: if you're having trouble with the taste...

I'd gotten the capsule version of this product, but had trouble swallowing them... so I wound up breaking them open to take it. First tried the powder in water -- not a good experience... it floats and sticks to the side of the glass and was just odd & unpleasant. The flavor reminds me of very strong black tea leaves with a hint of raspberry... not awful but fairly strong and strange. The mix I've found that works well and tastes good is to mix the powder in a little bit of cherry flavored jello -the little snack packs with the mixed fruit are good- the flavor of the acai powder and the jello complement each other. Now it's a treat instead of an ordeal and I do find I have more energy :)Customer Review: Great!!!!!

This product is great. 3 days after my first use, I've experience more energy and I sleep better at night. I have constant pain in my legs, back and shoulders and that has also gone away. People these results where in just 3 days of taking the product!!!! Try it you have nothing to loose.
About the flavor. Yes, it's not pleasing but if you mix it with yogurt (I use Activia strawberry flavor) you will not notice the powder is even there.

Amazon thunder is pretty ok. It taste pretty great if you put it in yogurt. That's the way I eat it. However, I don't feel much different taking this stuff. On the other hand, probably because I don't take it everyday. Between work and school, I usually just try to get a quick bit here and there. I probably would suggest to get the capsule instead of the powder. It might be a little bit more expensive but more convenient.Customer Review: Revisit earlier comments
