My German Shepherd, Candy, is 10 years old and has been steadily slowing down. Once an active dog who loved nothing more than to go on her daily walks, she was clearly stiff and painful and eventually got to the point where she chose to stay home more often than not. She's been on glucosamine for a while now, and we've been avoiding Rimadyl and other pain medication. I decided to try DGP. Nothing I've been able to find written about the product raised any concerns, even though the company keeps it's proprietary blend of some of the ingredients a secret. Within a week Candy seemed to be feeling better, and within a month she was back to her old self. Her blood panels show no negative effects of the DGP, and more importantly her mobility and comfort have improved dramatically. While DGP may not work for all dogs, I strongly recommend trying it. And no, I have no ties to the company other than that of a grateful customer!Customer Review: Not the miracle I hoped for.

I have a sheltie with osteoarthritis in one elbow that severely limits his activities. I carry him around a lot, use a pet stroller, etc. and so far have only found a combination of Synovi G3 and Rimadyl to be effective in treating it. The glowing reviews for DGP gave me hope that we could get him off the Rimadyl which of course is not ideal for long-term treatment. I gave this product a good month-long trial but unfortunately it just didn't work for my dog, and after he had clearly gotten worse on it, I had to switch back to the Rimadyl. Still, while it didn't work for me, I still would recommend people try it, the price is a tad high, and it would be nice if they gave some kind of guarantee on it, but if there is even a chance that it might work for your dog versus using NSAIDS, it's worth a shot. I just wish it had worked for us, but I just didn't see any improvement with it at all.Customer Review: A Miracle for My Lab

My 7 yr old yellow labrador was unable to go up stairs - it seemed like almost overnight. I took her to the vet - he had to put her under - to xray and diagnose. Anyway no one knows whether it is her knees, hip (hip displasia) pinched nerve in her back (from years of springing her 85 lb body high into the air) or something else. I changed to a nutrition packed food - no change - added Snovi G3 - that helped about 40% - but the Dog Gone Pain was like a miracle - within a week she was like her puppy self AND could go up ALL stairs in my house. She had been sleeping on the first floor because she just couldn't make it up to me - and if you know labs that is torture to us both! Anyway - this supplement is priceless.Customer Review: DGP

and evening, he used to drag his left leg due to terrible pain from arthritis. One week after we gve him DGP he was running in he park like
a puppy, He has been on FGP for over 2 years now and he is so lively
and happy. A friend of mine told me about DGP, and I will b e forever
grateful to her, OUr dog is a black coat retreiver and is 14 yrs.

I'm not an agent for any company. I'm the owner of two huskies, one is 10 years old. I purchased Dog Gone Pain upon my veterinarians recommendation. When I started giving it to my older dog, I saw a remarkable improvement. My old girl wants to play again. She can keep up on long walks without limping now.
You do have to keep up with it and follow the dosing recommendations. The flavour does need to be disguised in a bit of cheese, or the pill can be ground up with a spoon on a cutting board and mixed into the food. As a dog owner, I recommend it highly!
