My dog Onyx has arthritis in her hips and has had a TPLO of her left leg (surgery for ruptured cruciate ligament) I did not like for her to be on rimadyl but sometimes she just couldn't walk
without pain, She is an 8 year old Black Lab. I have been giving it to Onyx for about a year
with no adverse effects. And she loves to go for her walks again. The price on Amazon is about half of the store price with free shipping. It can be your dogs best friend

Unfortunately, I did not notice any improvement at all after I gave this product to my arthritic dog. I tried it for several months and found that it did not offer any benefit. In fact, she seemed to improve when I took her off of this product. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend this to anyone.
I wonder of many of the positive reviews are written by the company...

Perhaps 4-5 years ago, our Yorkie started to ignore his food, avoided play, and did not want to go on long walks. This is a dog that played 24/7 just a year earlier. We suspected pain, but did not know for sure. After some research, we decided to try DGP. Within days, he was back to his old self. Zippy is now 14 1/2 years old and still going strong. Our 11 year old black lab went from limping due to his arthritis to running like a puppy thru the fields after only 10 days of this stuff. It's improved his quality of life & his attitude as well! Dog Gone Pain is truly amazing. My 9 year old lab acts like a puppy again and is able to fetch the frisbee without spending the rest of the day limping in pain from an arthritic/swollen rear hock. While she somewhat improved on GlycoFlex, it just wasn't enough. While the swelling is still present, I haven't seen her limp since starting Dog Gone Pain.
