Customer Reviews of American Crew Daily Moisturizing Shampoo, 33.8-Ounce Bottle, Package may vary

Customer Review: Very over-rated
Summary: 3 Stars

I understand this is a great brand, with a great line up of pom, paste, you name it.
Probably also the reason for the very ratings, but you really shouldnt be influenced
by brand name when judging a product
And in that regard, I can confidently say that this shampoo is very mediocre. I didnt
feel my hair was much different after washing (twice). I have normal slightly curly hair
Ive been using this for a month now, and I really can't tell much difference in my hair

I received much better results using pantene's pro-v (my last shampoo)

Overall, stick with their pomade, but choose something else for shampoo

Customer Review: Great value, great product
Summary: 5 Stars

I got tired of continually buying small (over-priced) bottles of shampoo from my stylist, and this product was exactly what I wanted. The container IS a little big if you intend to pick it up each time you use it. Instead, consider dispensing some into whichever shampoo container you just finished using. Or, do what I did, and find a pump lying around that fits the lid. It's now a breeze to dispense the right amount each time that I shower.

The shampoo works and smells great. By buying it in bulk, you get a great deal!

I recommend it, and plan on buying it again when I run out.

Customer Review: Usually Watered Down
Summary: 1 Stars

I've been using Crew for a very long time and was the first time I purchased it via Amazon. I noticed that it was usually watered down as typical Crew Shampoo doesn't move quickly when trying to get out of the container. I'm not sure if it was just a fluke but I'll stick to buying it at my barbershop where it's not usually watery. It's impossible to tell from looking at the container but I would certainly question this particular product on Amazon's authenticity (as expensive shampoos are often replicated and scammed).

Customer Review: Average shampoo
Summary: 3 Stars

From all the glowing reviews on this shampoo, I thought this would be a great shampoo. It turns out it's just average.

Compared to a generic, cheap shampoo made by Suave and bought at Walmart, this shampoo doesn't smell as horrible, but costs ~$15 more. Everything else was pretty much the same. Therefore, it receives 3 stars from me.

An average shampoo with 5 star reviews seems a little suspicious. Be wary of planted reviews.

Customer Review: Favorite Shampoo
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my favorite shampoo, and this is some of the best prices for it. If you buy it at a local retailer they want $8-9 for 12oz. You get almost 3 times that for just a little bit more from Amazon.

Why I like it? I'm not sure why, the smell of it probably has something to do with it, and plus it works great of course.

Basically it's a great price for this.
