Customer Reviews of American Crew Pomade for Men, 3-Oz Jars (Pack of 2)Customer Review: excellent choice of pomade Summary: 5 Stars
The American Crew pomade costs a lot more than your average big-bottle goo, but your hair will thank you. It's not really greasy, doesn't make flakes, and washes out OK. You only need to use a little bit, on damp hair it works fine. Adds a bit of shine and hold, although it doesn't hold as strong as the American Crew styling gel. Definitely worth paying extra for, it leaves your hair looking and smelling fresh and not too "crusty" like the really thick waxes.
Customer Review: Best for hold and shine. Summary: 5 Stars
American Crew Pomade is the best pomade out there if you're looking for hold and shine. I've tried all the major labels, and this stuff not only holds well, but it goes on and washes out clean. No waxy build-up or greasiness to this pomade. And it has a nice scent on top of it all!
This is not for people who want a natural sheen or "matte" finish to their hair. American Crew Fiber is a better choice if you don't want the shine.
Customer Review: Disappointed Summary: 1 Stars
Bought this very expensive product after reading such great reviews and after using it twice formed my opinion. It's no good for me. Maybe its my hair type I don't no. If you use a little you get no hold whatsoever and if you use enough to get any sort of hold you look like a grease ball. For any one that has never used this I strongly recommend you try it before you buy it. Go to a store and use a tester.
Customer Review: Best Pomade I've used Summary: 5 Stars
For a couple of years now I have been using this pomade and it has always done the job. A small amount is all you need and you are good to go. I have short curly hair and it keeps them all in order yet still curly. If you don't want to keep your curls, this might not be the one for you. The price was excellent too. At some salon it would of been a lot more to get them. I recomend it for sure.
Customer Review: 1 jar lasts 3-5 months Summary: 4 Stars
You might balk at paying $20 for two of these, but they cost 13-15 bucks regularly priced elsewhere. Also, this may be almost a years supply for most men.
I like the fact that it doesn't have an overwhelming feminine smell to it. It doesn't harden to give you "crunchy hair", but provides nice sheen and a little control.
