This clipper can't cut butter. I have a small maltese and the clipper struggles with her hair. Maybe it's not for long haired dogs?? It was so frustrating trying to clip my dog's hair that I just ended up taking her to the groomers the next day. Skip this product and pay a little more for one that the professionals use.Customer Review: Great Product for the Price

Great clipper kit! I have two black labs whose fur I like to keep very short. The groomers were costing me about $200 every couple of months. But for nearly a tenth of that one price, I can now do it myself. The DVD showed me how to easily groom my dogs, and I was able to do BOTH of them in about 45 minutes.Customer Review: Pet Clipper didn't clip

In all fairness to the product - this might be because our Australian Shepherds have such thick, yet very fine hair. We watched the video and tried to do it just like they did - but with poor results. Maybe this is why those grooming salons charge so much. That - and being in danger of being bitten all the time!Customer Review: Great value

The clippers are powerful and cut my dog's hair pretty easily. They were easy to use and my dog did not panic at all. As a matter of fact, the buzzing noise helped my dog fall asleep--while I was cutting her hair! The only thing it didn't have was a comb included. I haven't used it yet on my dog but I did clip the hair on my son's back!!lol!! It did a good job on that. It is a nice looking set with everything
you should need. When I get brave I will trim my dog!!
