I have an old pair of Andis electric clippers and the plastic guards that came with the clippers have become loose and will not stay on the blade. I bought these to replace them and they work great. The metal tab that locks them onto the blade appears to be very sturdy and I don't foresee them becoming loose at all ever. Good product.Customer Review: Andis Clipper Combs

Plastic is cheap moulding. Fits Andis 1557 Professional clippers. Sizes are standard (inches) and not "#'s. A little confusing when I went to look for the "#2" attachment. Then again, I'm no professional.Customer Review: Great addition to have with your Andes clippers
