First used this blow dryer at a Four Seasons hotel in Hawaii and LOVED it! Wrote down the name/model # and immediately came home and ordered one for my own travels. The retractable cord and folding handle are nice for traveling, but the best part about this "travel-friendly" blow dryer is that it's got great power without it being so hot that you have to worry about the heat burning your hair. I've got a more expensive dryer for every day at-home use, but would highly recommend this dryer for traveling!Customer Review: Best hair dryer I've ever owned!

I was using an ionic dryer before this and was used to just average performance. I used the dryer the first time and my hair felt like silk! I had no hair product on my hair, just freshly shampooed. I was amazed! I love this dryer! The cord retraction has to be "helped" right at the end, but that's not an issue for me. The folding handle is more important to me because of the limited storage space in my small bathroom. I'll never buy a different dryer in the future - always an Andis Ionic Ceramic!Customer Review: fastest blow dryer ever!

I have very long, thick blonde hair. Usually I don't have the patience to blow-dry my hair. I have been using the same hot pink Conair blow-dryer for about 3 years and it takes at least 20 mins to get my hair completely dry. I used this Andis product at a hotel I stayed in in NYC and loved it! It dried my hair in less than 10 minutes. I wrote down the brand name of the blow-dryer and bought it on amazon.com the day I got home from my trip.
I have already recommended it to all of my girlfriends!

This is the only ceramic, ionic blow dryer with a retractable cord that I could find on the market and I am very pleased with it. My fiance loves it because the cord doesn't get tangled or clutter up the bathroom counter. I love it because it's a great size and performs well-- drying hair very quickly. The only reason I hesitated from giving it 5 stars is that it is a bit heavy (because of the ceramic core, I suppose). Lastly I think the product could be improved with a more ergonomic handle.Customer Review: Wonderful...

I too bought this after using one in an upscale hotel. I have very thick, wavy/curly hair that dries out if I blow-dry it everyday. This dryer doesn't dry out my hair like the others and it folds up real nice for packing and storing in the drawer. The only concern I have is the retractable cord has a couple of times gotten hung up and not retracted properly. I've only had it about 6 weeks now and so far, so good, but that one little glitch is what prompted me to give it 4 instead of 5 stars.
