This support needs a solid chair or car seat to work, but it is VERY comfortabe, allows airflow, which is nice when it is hot. Attaches easily though may need to be repositioned if you are wiggly. For the price, it is fantastic buy for anyone who has an aching back that needs support. DKWCustomer Review: Nice design

We like the light weight, and design of these lumbar supports. The only blip is in the straps. We ordered two Lumbar supports, which came bagged together. We are using them in our Prius, and one is a very tight fit around the seat, and the other is extremely loose, and seems to slip around.
Overall we like them very much.

I haven't tried this particular one, but you gan get one that looks just like this at Walgreen's for 3.99. That one is not all that great. I wouldn't bother. Customer Review: Not that great

This just doesn't do it for me. I have pain in my sciatic nerve and this seems to not do as well as a regular foam back support cushion. I really do like that it is mesh so I don't get hot and sweaty in my work chair but the main feature should be comfort and that is where it didn't work. I would say it might be worth a try as its pretty cheap. Customer Review: Not for everyone

I heard so much about the product and I even tried it out before I purchased them. But when I use them for more than 15 minutes, my back got worse. It may be good for most people but it did not work for me. I suggest you try it out for yourself.
