I was a little worried from other reviews that the suction cups wouldn't stick, but they do if you press down on them. This mat isn't quite as cushy (padded) as my last one, but it's ok. I usually sit on a hand towel on top of the mat. I've used it lots of times (almost every day) since I got it (about a month) and it's holding up well. All in all a good product for the price. I do worry a little about what chemicals it may have been treated with.
