These are pretty nice ear plugs to use. They function great and work well for my ears. I have pretty small ears, so any ear plug that fits in them I am happy with! They block out sound and noise pretty well. However they have still yet to make the perfect ear plug, that can really really dampen out the noise. These work pretty good and work good for studying and drowning out those loud noisy (snoring) roommates.
One complaint I guess, I would like to have them in different colors. Like a brighter color, that way if they fall out of your ear they would be easier to spot on the floor or on your couch.

Customer Review: Most comfortable of all ear plugs I've tried.

Long story short, I can't sleep without earplugs. I've tried EVERY brand on the market and found these to be the most comfortable and best at sound reduction. I also take a couple pair along on an airplane when travelling, and to concerts where the volume may be cranked up to the point of discomfort for me. These take the edge off loud music making it enjoyable instead of ear-splitting.
Shooters note: I use these coupled with the standard headphone style sound guards. Big improvement!
Also, in these bulk containers, they're as inexpensive as it gets.
Highly recommended.

I have some concern re them, as they are made from PVC foam (see description at [...]). Nevertheless, I continue to use them, because they're the most effective kind I've come across. Perfect for a sound night's sleep.
In my experience, they can be machine washed and dried in the dryer, which certainly extends their usefulness. If you put them in a sock, they're easiest to retrieve from the pile of laundry. They seem to me to be rougher and stiffer than those purchased the past. But if you place them under a hot water bottle for half a minute, they become extremely soft and easy to insert.

I am extremely sensitive to loud noises. The sound levels in most health clubs, bars, and other venues are unpleasant for me. I carry at least a couple of the plugs with me all the time. Then I insert them when I enter the loud establishment. I keep the used plugs in my pockets when I wash my clothes. The plugs are washed so I use them repeatedly.
They muffle the sounds so that I can tolerate the sound level. They do not completely block all sound. That is just what I want.

I've been using Flents (Apothecary) "Quiet Please" ear plugs for about 15 years now. Nothing has come near to the comfort and quietness of these. I've tried other types to experiment or because I was on the road and forgot mine. Nothing is as comfortable as these and the quality has been consistent. A pair may be worn up to a few days before requiring washing or tossing out. Buy them in bulk if you plan on using them or lot or just got noisy neighbors!
