I usually purchase my sponges at the beach when we go every year. The ones I get there (in cheap roadside shell stores) are soft and last forever.With the oil spill we have not gone as much lately and I ordered this sponge. It is rough and hurts my skin. I can only use it on my feet and it started falling apart the first time I used it. It leaves pieces on your body when you use it. NOT GOOD FOR KIDS...only get if you have tuff and ruff skin.DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AT ALL!!
