Astroglide has really made a name for itself since its introduction in 1991, and it is now one of the top-selling personal lubricants. Well, it's easy to see why! Astroglide is a water-based lubricant, which means that it is friendly to your body, your toys and your condoms, and it is easy to clean up.
Also, some lubricants I have run across have a very odd or bitter taste, which can be distracting during one-on-one time, but Astroglide has a bittersweet taste that, while not great, is definitely not bad. So, if you want a great water-based lube, then join the throng, and get Astroglide! I highly recommend it!!
FYI: In general, there are three types of lubricants and each has its pros and cons. Water-based lubes are easy to cleanup and are unlikely to cause yeast infections, but on the down side they do need to be renewed every half hour or less due to drying. Oil-based lubes tend to have maximum slipperiness and last longest, but can lead to yeast infections and tend to break down latex condoms and toys quite quickly. Silicone-based lubes fall in between these two, being slicker and longer lasting than water-based lubes, but they do require longer clean up times, can stain sheets and clothing, and will eventually break down silicone toys.

I really am glad to see so many lubricants readily available on the market, Astroglide is one that can be found almost anywhere and at a very reasonable price.
It's thick, a bit much in my opinion, but it holds up. The big issue that I have is that it must be thoroughly washed off afterwards. I have sensitivity to so many things and even at first I had no problem, but it developed and can cause an itching and burning until compltetly rinsed off - sometimes that can be a hassle. Just a warning. Even if it is water based, there can be other chemicals or ingredients that a person can develop a sensitivity to.

As a conservative and married gentleman, lubricant can be a sensitive topic. It's something you don't always chat about freely, but is incredibly important- you don't want to have to over-think it as a couple, you just want it to do its job so you can focus on enjoying your relationship. Having tried a variety of these products, I have to say with full certainty that this is the best of these. I have not had a product that is so easy to clean off, comfortable, irritation-free, and effective. I would definitely pay more for this brand- it also lasts a long time, and you do not have to use a great deal of it.Customer Review: Some of the best lube around, but not for this price

As noted above, these bottles have more than doubled in price from just a few weeks ago. They were just $5, now @ $12 (and are generally <$10 online). Cvs or somebody local should have them for a little more than $10, and when you factor in the $6.95 shipping cost (orders under $50) you could actually then get a third bottle. Hmph. Otherwise, as said some of the best lube around. Highly recommended however you get it.

We ran out of lube after buying the Condom Lover's Wild Weekend pack, and needed to buy more. We received a few samples of this brand, so I bought it. It does it's job admirably, but it does leave something of a mess. I don't know if this is a default with the product, or if I'm just squeezing too much out. Anyhow, while clean up can be a hassle, it's still a good lube to use. Keep some tissues nearby though.
