I was a faithful user of the Atkins shakes until they changed the formula a few months ago. I don't know if it's the switch to soy milk or what, but it tastes absolutely disgusting now. It doesn't taste like chocolate! The old ones tasted just like a real chocolate shake and were wonderful. What a disappointment...I won't be buying these anymore until they change back to a better formula.Customer Review: Vendor was great. Product okay.

With a name like Atkins, thought I'd try this for a low carb alternative to a "milk" beverage to make smoothies with. As a diabetic, I'm always looking for low carb options. This was okay. The texture was right. The initial taste was okay, but it got too artificial tasting as the drinking went on. I might try it again, but it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for.Customer Review: Filling!

These shakes are awesome. They're super thick, taste great, filling and at only 1 net carb they're the perfect snack or meal for the diabetic or person on low carb diets. The only thing I don't get is that this 12 pack is .23 cents per ounce and the 8 pack is .14 cents per ounce? I bought 2 8-packs for cheaper than 1 12-pack. The shake tastes terrible, even ice cold! I gave it two stars because it does have a decent vitamin and protein content. If you are expecting something yummy you won't find it here. I normally don't drink sugary beverages due to my dietary needs but this one was awful. I tired it once, that was enough. I will never purchase it again. Like some of the other reviewers, I was a faithful user of the Atkins shakes but the new formula is not good. I have stopped buying these shakes and am looking for a substitute. I would drink the drink alone or use them as a starting point for a low carb smoothie in the blender, I notice the change right away. I'm tying out the EAS shakes.
