I have used this product before -- back when I could find it in a store, and I can tell you it definity works. I have coarse dark hair on my legs, and this makes it come in fine and grow more slowly. Not only am I happier about how my legs look between shaves, I am also saving time. It's one of those things that you have to use regularly in order for it to work -- I use it every day, whether I shave or not. This is more effective than using the same brand's shave gel that claims to have the same effect -- the shave gel doesn't work nearly as well, yet it's much easier to find in stores. This lotion is great, but Bargain Express (ha!) is charging an exhorbitant $129.99 for 3 bottles, and the other retailer wants $49.99. Don't pay this. It is a rip off. Last time I bought 3 bottles on Amazon they were less than $20 for all 3. If you search Aveeno's other lotion types, you will find they are available at a much more reasonable price. This is something you can buy at the store for around $7-8 a bottle. I'm disappointed Amazon would offer this product through its Prime Shipping at such a ridiculous price.Customer Review: Great product

The secret is to use it everyday all year - even in the winter when you may not shave as much. I have used this product since Jergens came out with it. I used to only use it during the summer and it would take a few months to notice a difference. Now after using this product on my legs only for 2 years straight, I almost do not have to shave at all. The hair on the back of my legs would grow in weird and dark. I always missed some. Now I do not have that problem.Customer Review: Does what it's supposed to

I was a fan of Jergen's Skin Smoothing lotion that also reduced the need for shaving, but that item has been discontinued. I purchased the Aveeno brand at Wal-mart and it, too, helps to thin out hair and let's you go longer between shaves.
The Aveeno brand is more than twice the price of what Jergen's cost, but I'm okay with paying the higher price 'cause hey, I'm saving on razor blades. Aveeno smells better, anyway. :D

What can I say? I love this stuff!! It moisturizes well, and it actually works. I only have to shave about once a week now, and I've been using it for about 2 years. My biggest problem is finding it, since all of the stores where I live have removed Positively Smooth from their shelves so now I have to buy it online. The fact that I am buying this through Amazon is definitely proof that this lotion is worth it!
