After developing a small puffy sack under each eye due to the use of a high collagen (expensive) eye cream, I needed something to reduce the size (or get rid of) those sacks. - I learned that caffeine reduces fatty sacks and dark circles under eyes. I found this product, Awake, to have a large amount of caffeine. After reading mixed reviews I decided to try it. I'm very glad I did. After 2 weeks, I am noticing a reduction in my puffy sacks and definetly lighter, less noticeable circles under my eyes. I am pleased! I didn't expect overnight or instant relief, but I was hoping for results after 14 days. I got it! I started to notice a difference after just a few days and each day since I've used less makeup to conceal the dark color because of the brighter and lighter skin tone. I stopped using my concealer and now just use my regular face makeup for blending with the rest of my makeup. The puffy sacks are slowly reducing and as long as they are getting smaller - I don't need instant gratification - it's the long term results I'm looking for. I haven't ever felt a tighting, but I don't have loose skin under my eyes, therefore, I probably wouldn't notice that effect. In somebody elses review from prior, they made a comment about the pump...it does start to stick and when you pump it, it sprays out too much product (Here's a tip I learned: place the opening of the pump up against your palm before pressing (not to tight), when you pump the product, you'll have less come out or fly across your counter, thus saving you from using too much at a time. Any extra I have left over, I use around my lip area and it's help there with tiny lines!) If you're looking for an over all lightener or brightener, this product delivers good results.
