I suffer from serious B12 malabsorption pernicious anemia and was very ill a few years ago, before being diagnosed and given B12 shots. Like most people I don't like getting injections so I thought I'd give these a try. After using them for a few months my early warning sign pernicious anemia symptoms began coming back, including extreme fatigue, poor coordination, and a numb tongue. I went back to the doctor and got a B12 shot and the symptoms disappeared again. These patches may be useful for people who just need an energy boost but they were no good for treating my pernicious anemia. I would advise anyone with a similar condition to be very wary about changing from shots to patches.
