Customer Reviews of Back ScratcherCustomer Review: The Back Scratcher of Your Dreams Summary: 5 Stars
Who would have thought that one could be awe-stricken by as mundane an article as a back-scratcher? Well, anyway, this is really a very well-made item - far better than I ever hoped for- especially for the price ( $3.50 plus a quite- reasonable $4.56 S&H) It came in a very cool, re-useable shipping tube.
What more can I say - it is magnificent! And if you ever find yourself in need of an "entrenching tool" (for you old ex-GI's) I'm sure this will fill the bill( it's that large and sturdy).
Customer Review: Not great but good @ scratching Summary: 3 Stars
Just got this back scratcher today, all i can say is AHH!!!. Didn't give it 5 stars since it started to splinter which i didn't like but all i did was sand it down and its good to go. I like the message wheels in the back for something different. All I can say is the makers need a little bit more quality control in this product since not everyone is willing to do what i did and do a little grease work to get the product working right.
Customer Review: Very badly made!! Summary: 1 Stars
The shoe horn end of this back scratcher has a 4" split in it and in addition would have to be completely sanded to be useful. Every surface is covered with slivers. My old favorite, beautifully finished, bamboo back scratcher was lost in moving and I was hoping to get something at least near to that, but there is no comparison here. Too cheap to send back, but obviously, you get what you pay for.
Customer Review: Does the job. Summary: 3 Stars
I bought two, one for work and one for home. long enough to reach everywhere. Little wheels on the handle end don't seem particularly useful - small and loose, and no leverage to work into muscles. teeth are uneven, one scratcher is missing a tooth the way the teeth were cut in. They get the scratch, though ... that's the point. :)
Customer Review: Diamond in the Rough Summary: 3 Stars
Like other reviewers have said, this is pretty rough when you get it. It needed some (aggressive) sanding and a little cutting on one of the "fingers". I did have to drill a hole for hanging. But, after all that, it was worth it. This thing is long enough to scratch the whole back. I would buy again.
