This slicer is AWESOME!!! We use it weekly at the police department for our breakfast with the cops and it saves us a lot of hassle and time. They used to have an electric slicer and were leary of this one BUT we use it and love it! I have sold a few people on getting one for their homes too. What could be easier than insert bagel and slice! Just watch for those cinnamon sugar ones because the coating will scrape off in the slicer.Customer Review: Not bad, but not the best thing since sliced bread (ha!)

It has a tendency to crush fresh bagels, but they generally do bounce back. I recommend going slowly with the bagels to minimizing the crushing (less fun though).
Works fantastic on day old bagels that have stiffened up, but then you're eating day old bagels and that's another issue.
Recommended, especially for a group setting when you want to cut a box of bagels quickly.

This is a cool product, saves a lot of time, fun and quick. It would be perfect if the section the holds the bagel could be adjusted, not all bagels are the same thickness, some of my bagels barely fit into the hold or it was difficult to cut the bagel perfectly in half--meaning 1/2 the bagel in a toaster oven is chrispy and the other lightly done. Overall, I'm pleased with this product.Customer Review: love this product

Should have purchased this product years ago. I love bagels and have always had trouble slicing them. Recently I cut my finger seriously while slicing a bagel and decided I needed to do something.
