Being an avid outdoorsman, I've been through quite a few different sunblocks in pursuit of the ultimate sport lotion. Banana Boat was a huge letdown.
1. It is not "sweatproof." I know, I know - 80 mins. sweat/water is all they are claiming, but I'm telling you it's much less than this. That 80 min. claim might hold true if you are sweating and NOTHING is coming in contact with your skin. More likely scenario, you sweat and clothing or something else rubs your skin - bam, sunblock is gone. This turns into a thick, gooey type substance when sweat is added and you can see the mixture building up on your skin.
2. Dri/No slip formula. BS. This is the greasiest of al of the "sport" lotions I've tried. Not good for sports where any sort of grip is needed.
3. As some others have noted - stings/burns your face. This is minimized by waiting until well after a shower to apply, but it still burns. This is definitely NOT good for faces. When it runs into your eyes (and it does) it will burn like the dickens. You've been warned.
Go for Hawaiian Tropic Sport and thank me later. Super grippy and doesn't run. Spreads on smooth and thick.
