After trying for months with regular thermometers to take my waking temperature every day, I could finally complete my first month of taking my temperature without fail, every single day, thanks to this thermometer. Its accuracy and convenience motivated me to follow through with charting. Saving the temp for you to read when fully awake is a plus - subtly I think it helped keep me on track with taking the temp before fully waking up. (Earlier I was always forgetting and getting all the way up.) Price was reasonable, I would recommend.
