I like the concept of a beeping thermometer that makes sure you have it in the correct position, but when you're reading your "waking" temp and your husband is asleep next to you, and you'd rather do it in peace and then sleep a few minutes more after you're done...well, this thermometer doesn't want that.
I've rigged mine so it's quieter now. After I figured out the best way of doing that, well, sheesh, I love it!

Decent thermometer... BUT I was looking for one that went uut to 2 decimal points atleast for accurate temping. The descriptions for this item never mentioned how many digits it went to, and since its a non-retournable item... I am stuck with it... But I do like that it lights up for easy reading in the dark. Received mine today. Read a temperature and got 96.8. Then compared it to the one I used for the last 10 years and got 98.1. So we have 1.3 degree difference.
If I would trust this temperate I would need to go to the doctor.
I wonder what temperature readings got the reviewers of a positive feedbacks!
Will try to give it another chance and replace it for another one.

Not happy with this product at all. I don't think it was accurate, and the constant beeping was somewhat annoying. i could take my temp back to back and get different temps every time. this is my 2nd BBT thermometer - and I'm in search of a replica of the first one I had when charting to get pg with my 1st child. it might not have had the light, but it was accurate and reliable!Customer Review: Good for fevers

This is NOT a good therm for Trying to conceive. It does not have the 100th digit needed for women who are charting and taking their daily temps. This is listed well, has good reviews, but I am disappointed as it is not a true BBT and should not be purchased by those wishing to temp and chart and TTC. Otherwise, it's a good therm for regular use like fevers, etc.
